Kartar dual Plate Check Valve Turbo (S.S. Body, PN 16, Wafer Type), available 50 mm to 200 mm at PN 16. Check valves stop reverse flow without any external operation — line pressure alone opens and closes them. On a pump discharge they prevent backspin and the water hammer that follows an abrupt stop. CF8 (SS 304) suits mildly corrosive and hygienic duties where iron contamination of the product cannot be accepted. A wafer body adds almost nothing to the length of the pipe run.
