DRP’s bronze Wheel Valve No. 5 with Teflon Disc, Screwed is supplied in 15 mm to 50 mm. A regulating valve. The disc approaches the seat square-on, which is why it tolerates throttling that would wreck a wedge. The bronze body gives good corrosion resistance in water service and holds its seating faces over repeated operation. Parallel BSP threads — the usual small-bore connection, and quick to replace in service. Fitted where an operator needs to trim flow — boiler feed lines, heat exchanger bypasses and dosing points.
