Covering 15 mm to 50 mm, this is DRP’s bronze Union Bonnet Valve No. 9 with Teflon Disc, Screwed. Where flow is throttled rather than simply stopped, a globe pattern is correct. The disc takes the wear that throttling causes. Bronze construction suits continuous water duty and takes repeated cycling without the seats degrading quickly. Parallel BSP threads — the usual small-bore connection, and quick to replace in service. Fitted where an operator needs to trim flow — boiler feed lines, heat exchanger bypasses and dosing points.
