Description
DRP’s G.M. Wheel (Globe) Valve No. 4, Screwed is supplied in 8 mm to 100 mm. Globe valves are built for regulation: flow turns across a disc seated parallel to the line, giving fine control at the cost of a higher pressure drop than a gate valve. The LTB-2 gunmetal body to IS 318 resists dezincification, which is why gunmetal remains the default for potable water rather than a cheaper brass. Screwed BSP ends keep installation simple at small bores and allow a valve to be changed with two wrenches. Full dimensions, catalogue references and current pricing for every size are listed in the table above.
