Description

This G.M. Gate Valve, Screwed (IS 778, Cl-2) from DRP covers 15 mm to 100 mm. Intended for full-open or full-shut duty. Holding a wedge part-open to throttle will chatter and wear the seat faces. The LTB-2 gunmetal body to IS 318 resists dezincification, which is why gunmetal remains the default for potable water rather than a cheaper brass. Parallel BSP threads — the usual small-bore connection, and quick to replace in service.
