Description
Castle SG Iron Butterfly Valve (CF-8/SS-304 Disc, Lever Operated, PN 20), available 32 mm to 150 mm at PN 20. A quarter turn moves the disc through the full stroke, so large-bore lines can be operated quickly without a gearbox in the smaller sizes. Lever operated, so the position is readable from across a plant room. Ductile iron carries considerably more strength and impact resistance than grey cast iron for the same section — the reason it is specified for buried and higher-pressure mains. The wafer body clamps between two pipe flanges, keeping face-to-face length and weight to a minimum. The table above gives the price for each size in the range.
