Audco’s cast Iron Butterfly Valve (CF8M (SS 316) Disc, Nitrile Liner, Lever, PN 10) is supplied in 50 mm to 300 mm at PN 10. Butterfly valves become the economical choice as bore increases: the disc rotates within the body rather than lifting clear of it, so the valve stays short and light where a gate valve would be neither. Lever operated, so the position is readable from across a plant room. The IS 210 cast iron body is the economical choice at larger bores.
