L&T’s ball Valve, 2-Piece, Reduced Bore, CS (WCB), Flanged Class 150, Fire Safe is supplied in 15 mm to 150 mm at Class 150. A quarter turn takes a ball valve from shut to fully open, which makes it the practical choice wherever a line is operated often. The bore through the ball gives tight shut-off and low resistance when open. A cast carbon steel body to ASTM A216 WCB handles the temperatures and pressures of steam and hot oil, where bronze or iron would not be rated. Flanged ends make the valve straightforward to remove for servicing without cutting pipe, and are the norm once bore and weight rule out threaded joints.
