Description

L&T ball Valve, 1-Piece, Reduced Bore, SS (CF8M), Flanged Class 150, Fire Safe, available 15 mm to 150 mm at Class 150. A quarter turn takes a ball valve from shut to fully open, which makes it the practical choice wherever a line is operated often. The bore through the ball gives tight shut-off and low resistance when open. CF8M (SS 316) carries molybdenum, giving markedly better resistance to chlorides and pitting than SS 304 — why it is specified for coastal, effluent and chemical service. Flanged connections allow the valve to come out for overhaul with the pipework left in place. The table above gives the catalogue reference and price for each size in the range.
