Covering 25 mm to 50 mm at PN 16, this is Advance’s bronze Screwed Balancing Valve, Type-II. Used to commission chilled and hot water circuits so each terminal receives its design flow. Fitted with test points, they allow flow to be measured and locked at the commissioned setting. Bronze construction suits continuous water duty and takes repeated cycling without the seats degrading quickly. Screwed BSP ends keep installation simple at small bores and allow a valve to be changed with two wrenches. Fitted on each branch of a chilled or hot water circuit and set during commissioning.
