Description

Covering 15 mm to 100 mm, this is Veeson’s cast Iron Y-Type Strainer, Screwed Ends. Fitted upstream of pumps, meters and control valves to catch debris that would otherwise damage them. The removable screen means the strainer can be serviced in place; the mesh should be chosen for the medium rather than by default. Grey cast iron to IS 210 keeps the cost sensible in the larger sizes, provided the duty is steady rather than shock-loaded. Screwed BSP ends keep installation simple at small bores and allow a valve to be changed with two wrenches. Every size in the range is listed above with its catalogue number and price.
