Covering 15 mm to 65 mm, this is DRP’s brass Y-Type Strainer with Ball Valves, Screwed. Fitted upstream of pumps, meters and control valves to catch debris that would otherwise damage them. The removable screen means the strainer can be serviced in place; the mesh should be chosen for the medium rather than by default. A forged brass body to IS 319 — dense, compact and economical in the smaller sizes. Parallel BSP threads — the usual small-bore connection, and quick to replace in service.
