This C.I. Wedge Gate Sluice Valve from Sant covers 50 mm to 300 mm at PN 10. The standard isolation valve on larger water lines. The wedge seats between two body faces, giving tight shut-off on clean and lightly contaminated water at pipeline pressures. Grey cast iron to IS 210 keeps the cost sensible in the larger sizes, provided the duty is steady rather than shock-loaded.
