Description
Sant’s forged Steel Horizontal Lift Check Valve is supplied in 15 mm to 40 mm. Check valves stop reverse flow without any external operation — line pressure alone opens and closes them. On a pump discharge they prevent backspin and the water hammer that follows an abrupt stop. CF8 (SS 304) suits mildly corrosive and hygienic duties where iron contamination of the product cannot be accepted. Socket-welded ends suit small-bore high-pressure lines where a threaded joint would be a weak point. Normally fitted on pump discharges and at the point a branch joins a common header.
