Veeson cast Steel Y-Type Strainer, Flange Ends (PN-40), available 25 mm to 100 mm. Strainers protect what sits downstream. A mesh screen catches scale, weld spatter and pipe debris before it reaches a pump impeller, a meter register or a control valve seat, and the screen lifts out for cleaning without breaking the line. A cast carbon steel body to ASTM A216 WCB handles the temperatures and pressures of steam and hot oil, where bronze or iron would not be rated.
