Covering 50 mm to 300 mm, this is Veeson’s ductile Iron Resilient Seated Gate Valve, Non-Rising S.S. Spindle (PN-16). A shut-off valve, not a control valve — throttling duty belongs to a globe pattern. With the stem inside the bonnet, the valve occupies the same height open or shut — useful where clearance above the line is limited. An SG iron body to IS 1865 tolerates ground movement and pressure surge in ways grey cast iron does not.
