Veeson’s cast Iron Non Return Reflux Valve, Rubber Seat (PN-16) is supplied in 50 mm to 300 mm. Non-return valves permit flow in one direction only, closing on reversal without external actuation. They protect pumps, meters and treatment equipment from the effects of backflow. The IS 210 cast iron body is the economical choice at larger bores. It suits steady water service but not lines that see mechanical shock. Flanged ends make the valve straightforward to remove for servicing without cutting pipe, and are the norm once bore and weight rule out threaded joints.
