Veeson’s cast Iron Dual Plate Check Valve, S.S. Doors (CF-8) (PN-20) is supplied in 50 mm to 300 mm. Check valves stop reverse flow without any external operation — line pressure alone opens and closes them. On a pump discharge they prevent backspin and the water hammer that follows an abrupt stop. The IS 210 cast iron body is the economical choice at larger bores. It suits steady water service but not lines that see mechanical shock.
