Where flows vary widely, check the meter’s turndown before choosing a size. Built for sewage and effluent duty, where solids and aggressive water would shorten the life of a clean-water pattern. The IS 210 cast iron body is the economical choice at larger bores. It suits steady water service but not lines that see mechanical shock.
