Sant C.I. Vertical Inverted Bucket Type Steam Trap, available 15 mm to 50 mm. Steam traps discharge condensate while holding back live steam. Getting the type right matters more than the size — a trap that passes steam wastes fuel continuously, and one that waterlogs causes hammer. The IS 210 cast iron body is the economical choice at larger bores. It suits steady water service but not lines that see mechanical shock. Screwed BSP ends keep installation simple at small bores and allow a valve to be changed with two wrenches. The table above gives the price for each size in the range.
