Sant brass Stop Valve, available 15 mm. Globe valves are built for regulation: flow turns across a disc seated parallel to the line, giving fine control at the cost of a higher pressure drop than a gate valve. Forged brass keeps cost and weight down at small bores, where a cast body’s strength is not required. Usual duties are bypass lines, feed regulation and any point where flow has to be set and held.
