Covering 15 mm to 300 mm at PN 40, this is Sant’s cast Steel Globe Valve. Where flow is throttled rather than simply stopped, a globe pattern is correct. The disc takes the wear that throttling causes. WCB carbon steel construction, rated for the steam and thermal-oil duties that rule out lighter body materials. Flanged ends make the valve straightforward to remove for servicing without cutting pipe, and are the norm once bore and weight rule out threaded joints.
