Description
This gate Valve (Transformer Oil, Bolted Bonnet, PN 10, Large Bore, Flanged) from Leader covers 200 mm to 250 mm at PN 10. Intended for full-open or full-shut duty. Holding a wedge part-open to throttle will chatter and wear the seat faces. The bolted bonnet allows the gland to be repacked and the internals inspected without cutting the valve out of the line. Gunmetal to IS 318 Grade LTB-2 holds up in continuous water service without the dezincification that shortens brass fittings.
