Description
Leader’s horizontal Lift Check Valve (Bolted Cover) is supplied in 15 mm to 50 mm at Class 150. Check valves stop reverse flow without any external operation — line pressure alone opens and closes them. On a pump discharge they prevent backspin and the water hammer that follows an abrupt stop. Forged A105 gives a dense, void-free body — why forged construction is specified for small-bore high-pressure duty. Flanged connections allow the valve to come out for overhaul with the pipework left in place. Used on pump delivery lines and wherever two sources feed a shared main.
