Description
Leader’s gate Valve (Welded Bonnet, O/S & Yoke Type, Rising Stem, Full Bore) is supplied in 15 mm to 40 mm at Class 1500. Gate valves isolate rather than regulate: the wedge lifts clear of the bore, so an open valve costs almost no pressure drop. A rising stem gives visual confirmation of position without touching the handwheel, at the cost of clearance above the valve. Forged A105 gives a dense, void-free body — why forged construction is specified for small-bore high-pressure duty. Socket-welded ends suit small-bore high-pressure lines where a threaded joint would be a weak point.
