Covering 40 mm to 400 mm at PN 16, this is Leader’s motorised Butterfly Valve, Electric Actuator, IS 13095. The disc stays in the flow path when open, which costs a little pressure drop but keeps the valve short, light and cheap to support. Grey cast iron to IS 210 keeps the cost sensible in the larger sizes, provided the duty is steady rather than shock-loaded. The wafer body clamps between two pipe flanges, keeping face-to-face length and weight to a minimum.
