Description

Covering 40 mm to 900 mm at PN 16, this is Leader’s dual Plate Check Valve, API 594. Fitted to prevent flow reversing when a pump stops or a line depressurises. Orientation matters: a swing pattern needs the correct attitude to seat properly, so confirm the intended mounting before ordering. Grey cast iron to IS 210 keeps the cost sensible in the larger sizes, provided the duty is steady rather than shock-loaded. A wafer body adds almost nothing to the length of the pipe run.
