The seats grip the ball on both sides, so shut-off is tight, and the lever position shows the valve’s state at a glance from across a plant room. Lever operated, so the position is readable from across a plant room. SS 316 with molybdenum, for chloride-bearing water and chemical duty that would pit 304.
