Description
Leader ball Valve (Two Piece Design, Floating Ball, Lever Operated, Full Bore), available 15 mm to 150 mm at Class 150. A quarter turn takes a ball valve from shut to fully open, which makes it the practical choice wherever a line is operated often. The bore through the ball gives tight shut-off and low resistance when open. Lever operated, so the position is readable from across a plant room. A cast carbon steel body to ASTM A216 WCB handles the temperatures and pressures of steam and hot oil, where bronze or iron would not be rated. Flanged ends make the valve straightforward to remove for servicing without cutting pipe, and are the norm once bore and weight rule out threaded joints.
