Description
Leader’s y-Type Strainer (Cast Steel, Class 300, Flanged ASME) is supplied in 25 mm to 150 mm at Class 300. Strainers protect what sits downstream. A mesh screen catches scale, weld spatter and pipe debris before it reaches a pump impeller, a meter register or a control valve seat, and the screen lifts out for cleaning without breaking the line. A cast carbon steel body to ASTM A216 WCB handles the temperatures and pressures of steam and hot oil, where bronze or iron would not be rated.
