Description
Leader’s y-Type Strainer (Cast Iron IBR, Screwed) is supplied in 15 mm to 50 mm. Strainers protect what sits downstream. A mesh screen catches scale, weld spatter and pipe debris before it reaches a pump impeller, a meter register or a control valve seat, and the screen lifts out for cleaning without breaking the line. IBR approved and supplied with the Form III-C certificate required for steam service under the Indian Boiler Regulations. The IS 210 cast iron body is the economical choice at larger bores. It suits steady water service but not lines that see mechanical shock. Screwed BSP ends keep installation simple at small bores and allow a valve to be changed with two wrenches.
