Description

This D.I. Ball Type Check Valve (PN 16) from Kartar covers 50 mm to 200 mm at PN 16. Fitted to prevent flow reversing when a pump stops or a line depressurises. Orientation matters: a swing pattern needs the correct attitude to seat properly, so confirm the intended mounting before ordering. An SG iron body to IS 1865 tolerates ground movement and pressure surge in ways grey cast iron does not. Flanged ends make the valve straightforward to remove for servicing without cutting pipe, and are the norm once bore and weight rule out threaded joints.
