Description
This y-Strainer (Flanged) from Honeywell covers 25 mm to 300 mm at PN 25. Fitted upstream of pumps, meters and control valves to catch debris that would otherwise damage them. The removable screen means the strainer can be serviced in place; the mesh should be chosen for the medium rather than by default. An SG iron body to IS 1865 tolerates ground movement and pressure surge in ways grey cast iron does not. Flanged ends make the valve straightforward to remove for servicing without cutting pipe, and are the norm once bore and weight rule out threaded joints.
