Covering 600 mm at PN 25, this is Honeywell’s manual Butterfly Valve, Gearbox Operated (SS Disc). The disc stays in the flow path when open, which costs a little pressure drop but keeps the valve short, light and cheap to support. Gear operation keeps the effort manageable at the larger bores, where a lever would need more force than one person can apply. A wafer body adds almost nothing to the length of the pipe run.
