Description
DRP bronze Horizontal Check Valve No. 5 with S.S. Part, Screwed, available 15 mm to 50 mm. Check valves stop reverse flow without any external operation — line pressure alone opens and closes them. On a pump discharge they prevent backspin and the water hammer that follows an abrupt stop. The bronze body gives good corrosion resistance in water service and holds its seating faces over repeated operation. Screwed BSP ends keep installation simple at small bores and allow a valve to be changed with two wrenches. The table above gives the catalogue reference and price for each size in the range.
