DRP’s G.M. Horizontal Check Valve, Screwed (IS 778, Cl-1) is supplied in 15 mm to 100 mm. Check valves stop reverse flow without any external operation — line pressure alone opens and closes them. On a pump discharge they prevent backspin and the water hammer that follows an abrupt stop. An IS 318 LTB-2 body — the specification most Indian consultants write for potable and general water service. Screwed BSP ends keep installation simple at small bores and allow a valve to be changed with two wrenches.
