Description

DRP G.M. Ferrule for Water Services (IS 2692), available 8 mm to 50 mm. A ferrule makes the connection between a distribution main and an individual service line, and includes a means of isolating that service without disturbing the main. The LTB-2 gunmetal body to IS 318 resists dezincification, which is why gunmetal remains the default for potable water rather than a cheaper brass. Screwed BSP ends keep installation simple at small bores and allow a valve to be changed with two wrenches. Used by water utilities and plumbing contractors making individual service connections.
