Description
This cast Iron Y-Type Strainer, Flanged (PN 16) from Castle covers 40 mm to 300 mm at 16 kg/cm². Fitted upstream of pumps, meters and control valves to catch debris that would otherwise damage them. The removable screen means the strainer can be serviced in place; the mesh should be chosen for the medium rather than by default. Grey cast iron to IS 210 keeps the cost sensible in the larger sizes, provided the duty is steady rather than shock-loaded.
