About the NewAge fire hoses range

This is the full NewAge fire hose range we are authorised to supply — 9 families, a range of sizes, across 2 body materials.

Selection within this range starts with the duty — the medium, its working pressure and its temperature — and only then with the size. Getting that order the wrong way round is how the wrong material ends up on a line.

The NewAge range here is supplied in CF8 stainless where the medium attacks a copper alloy and gunmetal to IS 318 LTB-2 for potable and general water service. Getting the material right is the part of the specification that cannot be corrected on site. The medium and the working temperature settle it; the size does not enter into it.

Where an inspection certificate or an IBR form is required, say so with the enquiry — it is arranged with the manufacturer at order stage and cannot be added to a valve already despatched.

When you send an enquiry for fire hoses, include the medium, the working pressure and the temperature alongside the sizes and quantities. It is the detail that most often has to be chased before a quotation can be priced, and supplying it up front saves a round trip.
