Description
This M.S. Fabricated T-Strainer (Flanged) from Sant covers 200 mm to 600 mm at PN 16. Fitted upstream of pumps, meters and control valves to catch debris that would otherwise damage them. The removable screen means the strainer can be serviced in place; the mesh should be chosen for the medium rather than by default. Grey cast iron to IS 210 keeps the cost sensible in the larger sizes, provided the duty is steady rather than shock-loaded. Flanged connections allow the valve to come out for overhaul with the pipework left in place. Size and pricing for each option appear in the table above.
