Description
Covering 40 mm to 300 mm at PN 20, this is Leader’s y-Type Strainer (Bolted-in Cover). Fitted upstream of pumps, meters and control valves to catch debris that would otherwise damage them. The removable screen means the strainer can be serviced in place; the mesh should be chosen for the medium rather than by default. Flanged connections allow the valve to come out for overhaul with the pipework left in place. Fitted ahead of pumps, water meters, control valves and steam traps as a matter of routine practice.
