DRP’s G.M. Horizontal Check Valve No. 5, Screwed is supplied in 15 mm to 50 mm. Check valves stop reverse flow without any external operation — line pressure alone opens and closes them. On a pump discharge they prevent backspin and the water hammer that follows an abrupt stop. An IS 318 LTB-2 body — the specification most Indian consultants write for potable and general water service. Parallel BSP threads — the usual small-bore connection, and quick to replace in service.
