Description
Covering 50 mm to 300 mm at 20 kg/cm², this is Castle’s SG Iron Double Flanged Balancing Valve (20 Kg./Sq.cm). Used to commission chilled and hot water circuits so each terminal receives its design flow. Fitted with test points, they allow flow to be measured and locked at the commissioned setting. An SG iron body to IS 1865 tolerates ground movement and pressure surge in ways grey cast iron does not. Flanged ends make the valve straightforward to remove for servicing without cutting pipe, and are the norm once bore and weight rule out threaded joints.
