Sant’s bronze Horizontal Lift Check Valve is supplied in 15 mm to 100 mm. Check valves stop reverse flow without any external operation — line pressure alone opens and closes them. On a pump discharge they prevent backspin and the water hammer that follows an abrupt stop. An IS 318 LTB-2 body — the specification most Indian consultants write for potable and general water service. Used on pump delivery lines and wherever two sources feed a shared main.
