Concept Engineers supplies industrial valves, pipes and pipe fittings, boiler mountings, instrumentation and fire-fighting equipment to plant and building services contractors. We are an authorised distributor for 31 manufacturers, and we hold those agencies directly.
What holding the agency actually means
It is the difference between a valve that carries the right name on the body and one the manufacturer will stand behind. Product comes from the works rather than the open market, the manufacturer’s warranty applies, and works test certificates, material certificates and IBR forms can be arranged against the order where the standard calls for them. Certification has to be requested when the order is placed — it is arranged with the works and cannot be added to goods already despatched.
What we supply
Isolation and control valves in gunmetal, bronze, cast iron, ductile iron, carbon steel and stainless steel, from 8 mm to 600 mm. Mild steel, galvanised, seamless and plastic piping with matching fittings and flanges. Boiler mountings including water level gauges, fusible plugs, feed check valves and safety valves. Strainers, steam traps and air vents. Pressure and temperature gauges, water meters and flow meters. Hydrants, landing valves, hose reels and extinguishers.
Why the specifications are on the site
Most distributor sites list a product name and a phone number. Every family here carries its real specification — nominal bore, body material, end connection, pressure rating and the standard it is built to — with every size listed against its catalogue number and current list price. You should be able to confirm a valve fits your line before you enquire, not after.
Sizes and patterns beyond what is listed can usually be supplied to order.
How we quote
Send a schedule and we price it line by line, flagging where a different material or pattern would serve the duty better or cost less. Where a specification is ambiguous we ask rather than assume. What we will not do is quote a substitution without saying that is what it is.
