Description
Covering 40 mm to 600 mm at PN 16, this is Sant’s C.I. Butterfly Valve. The disc stays in the flow path when open, which costs a little pressure drop but keeps the valve short, light and cheap to support. Grey cast iron to IS 210 keeps the cost sensible in the larger sizes, provided the duty is steady rather than shock-loaded. Flanged connections allow the valve to come out for overhaul with the pipework left in place. Widely fitted on chilled water risers, cooling tower lines and large-bore service headers.
