Covering 25 mm to 65 mm, this is Sant’s C.I. Accessible Feed Check Valve. Fitted to prevent flow reversing when a pump stops or a line depressurises. Orientation matters: a swing pattern needs the correct attitude to seat properly, so confirm the intended mounting before ordering. Grey cast iron to IS 210 keeps the cost sensible in the larger sizes, provided the duty is steady rather than shock-loaded. Flanged connections allow the valve to come out for overhaul with the pipework left in place. Normally fitted on pump discharges and at the point a branch joins a common header.
