Covering 25 mm to 150 mm, this is Sant’s cast Steel Y-Type Strainer. Fitted upstream of pumps, meters and control valves to catch debris that would otherwise damage them. The removable screen means the strainer can be serviced in place; the mesh should be chosen for the medium rather than by default. WCB carbon steel construction, rated for the steam and thermal-oil duties that rule out lighter body materials.
